Search Engine Page Ranking

My test plan

I have beeen asked for advice on how to improve a Page Ranking in Search engines. There are numourous people and companies that offer to submit your site to Search Engines and to increase your position in the search results. There are also vast numbers of pages on how to improve your rating.

So my plan is to see if I can improved the rating of some pages.

The first problem is to make sure that your page you want ranked well has the string you want to rank well for. So in the case in question the person wanted to Rank well for Marrakech holidays

The first problem is the if you search google for "marrakech holidays" his site doesn't show up.
This is what google finds on his site. Nothing found. If you try the same search on this site you won't get a hit since this is a relativly new page on my site. However, the next time google looks at my site it wil find it. And it should return a result. This is the current status
